If you are in the process of entering a passenger name, or something into one of the address fields, and Google Chrome suddenly starts going extremely slow, or stops responding, then you are likely encountering a known bug with Google Chrome and its AutoFill feature. This occurs when you have AutoFill enabled, and have entered numerous different passenger names, or addresses. Chrome remembers these prior entries, and after a period of time, has difficulty displaying all the possible options.

To remedy this, you have a few options:

Clear your AutoFill cache

This will temporarily fix the problem by removing everything that has been stored in AutoFill. As time goes on, the number of entries will continue to grow and you will have to clear it again.

  1. At the top right, click More More.
  2. Click More tools and then Clear browsing data.
  3. Next to "Clear the following items from," choose a time period. To clear everything, choose the beginning of time.
  4. Check "Autofill form data." Check or uncheck other data types you want to delete or not.
  5. Click Clear browsing data.

Disable AutoFill

If you would prefer a permanent fix, you may disable AutoFill entirely.

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More More and then Settings.
  3. At the bottom, click Advanced.
  4. Under "Passwords and forms," turn off Autofill settings.

Switching Browsers

We expect this is a temporary issue with Chrome, and one that will be addressed in an upcoming version. If its an option for you, you may want to temporarily switch to another browser, such as FireFox.
